Almost fit – I entered the refrigerator model and the part I received was not exactly the same. Possible because my unit is older (1992). I Had to do some reworking that the average Joe could not do, but I needed the part to get back running and not confident ordering another part would put me further ahead. The parts pictured on line all looked the same to me which was no help at all. The part has been working well now for a couple weeks.

Great product but poor customer service – 5 stars for product, 1 star for customer service. Hence 3 stars overall. My problem was a refrigerator that was not cooling but freezer was fine. Refrigerator also would not work again after going into defrost cycle, so I would have to manually jump start it again by moving the temperature sensors or turning off power. I replaced the cold control thermostat as well as the adaptive defrost control board. When I asked Romalon about their parts given the issues I was seeing on my refrigerator, the only response I got was “please buy from another seller.” Go figure…

Part was not calibrated properly, there by reflecting a very poor quality control. – Shipment was excellent, promise by May 4, but it came in May 1. Installed May 2, unit started ok. Been twicking it ever since. Trying to adjust the temperature in the ref. for I got one thermometer there and two in the freezer side, one located on the top shelve and another one on the bottom. Started ref. control and freezer control knobs on both the middle normal settings required. After 8 hours, ref. side shows 31degrees and freezer side: top 30, bottom 20. Our bottled water inside the ref. we’re iced up by top and frost up veggie bin. So, I adjusted the control 1/2 notched down, then another, then again and one more time, one last time. Now the ref. control is at no.1 and freezer is at same position. My problem is the unit is cycling between 10 to 12 minutes (on and off). If this condition goes on the start relay may give up or the start winding will get burned. Tried to open the freezer vent to wide open and temps. still the same. I think this one I got was a dud. On the way to Kohl’s, for return.

Good Product – These thermostat fit perfectly in my fridge and works fairly well. It took me a while to get the setting adjusted because the fridge was very cold and some items would freeze. Kept adjusting the setting down until I found the right spot and seems to work fine now.
